PrimeFaces 5.2 requires Atmosphere 2.3.x

Is there some workaround for the npe thrown from EventBusFactory.getDefault()..? Can't find any documentation stating that we should change anything other than bumping the Atmosphere version. Seems like a bug?

the documentation will 'always' be incomplete. Go with what you learn and read in the PrimeFaces Community Forum. The forum helps more people than the user guide, because many people rather ask questions than read user guide or figure it out themselves.
