Hi, I am trying to find a way to affect the value of maxReconnectOnClose. This seems to be set to 5 by default in push.js and I see no way to change the value. I want my application to keep polling and that is currently not happening, it stops when it reaches the limit of 5 that has been set. I would rather not edit push.js if I don't have to. I am using primefaces 5.1 and atmosphere 2.2.3 on Jboss EAP 6.1.

So I ended up modifying push.js. It would be great if there was another way to affect the value of maxReconnectOnClose without modifying the primefaces javascript.

Well, creating a patch that makes it available as an attribute on the push/socket tag and that 'pushes' (no pun intended) it to the clientside in the js AND filing this patch with an issue in the issuelist would help increasing the chance of getting this into PF (besides going Pro)...
