SCSS to CSS file conversion is not happening in ROMA Template when run npm start

Hi,
I have added some styles in the SCSS file then the scss(compoents) to css file conversion is not happening when i run the npm start command. Due to this I can't see the styles are reflected in the browser. please help me on this
