Hi,

Good morning,

I am using pe:masterDetail component in my project and it is working fine in most of the scenarios as per my requirement.
But i have one more scenario like i have to visit any menu item randomly.

For Example,

MenuItem1 -> MenuItem2 -> MenuItem3

For this i want to make all menu items(MenuItem1, MenuItem2 and MenuItem3) active so that I can visit or goto any menu item randomly.
Presently, I am unable to achieve this scenario.

Kindly guide me to achieve this scenario using masterDetail component.

thanks.

Hi,

Try to use custom items in breadcrumb like these ones: http://www.primefaces.org/showcase-ext/ ... gation.jsf (setting showBreadcrumb="false" is required). Aftherthat you can code breadcrumb items als buttons or links which invoke an acrion / actionListener. Action / actionListener should set the proper currentLevel (see the property level="#{wizardMasterDetailController.currentLevel}" in the pe:masterDetail) and update the whole pe:masterDetail component. It should work.
