Hello,
In our case, there could be many groups, which can't be displayed in fixed height area. So, I changed property overflow so that it can be scrolled down.
The problem is, when scrolling down, the axis at top is missing. And it's not easy to know the event duration after that.
So my questions is, is it possible to fix axis when scrolling down.
Of course, if you have any better solution to deal with this case, it's warmly welcome to share!
Thanks a lot!

its not officially supported
the primefaces timeline component is made up of divs not table elements
anyway, i got a solution that kinda works (not for IE) but its more or less a hack where u put position:fixed on the right divs after a certain point has been scrolled trough (check with jquery)
maybe for what ur trying to achieve p:sticky will do
