PrimeUI Datatable Custom Cell Editor

Hi everyone,

I'm using the PrimeUI lib version 4.1.15 in my project and I'm trying to customize a Datatable.

I ran this example: http://www.primefaces.org/primeui/#datatableEditable and so far so good but I need to use checkboxes and dropdowns as cell editors and I didn't find the correct way to do it.

I've implemented a javascript function in the "content" option of the columns to inject dropdowns and checkboxes in the cells.
The components are drawn in the datatable cells and I thought that was enough, but for some reason it seems that these customized cells are disconnected from the datatable datasource... when I change the dropdown or the checkbox value and get the datasource I realized that the values does not change.

My Question is: How can I use other types of editor besides the "input"?

I need it too and I don't understand how to make.
I'm too trying understand how call event changed to controls embedded in DataTables.

I don't like of the documentation available to PrimeUI. It's very important build more samples and situations for demo about how to make.
