Hi,
We are not planning to add Material Theme for now. We'll consider adding it in future versions according to customer feedback.

Our first priority for the UI Kit is to have a seamless integration with our own theme, Lara, with support for Tokens Studio and with our in-development theming engine API and Theme Designer. We recommend the Material Design resources managed by Google in Figma for you.
