Automatic width size for Panel and TabView

Is there any way to make Panel width size and TabView width size automatic with the size or the number of components inside ? I discovered if the components are many horizontally, the width does not add automatically like the height.
For instance including a panelGrid with 17 colunms or a DataTable with 20 columns will not fit inside a Panel or a TabView, some part will go out of the Panel or TabView

Has anybody encountered this problem before ? I haved tried everything with CSS and Firebug, no change so far
