Hi

I use dataExporter to export a table into excel. The table contains a date value with a converter (<f:convertDateTime dateStyle="medium" locale="de" />). In the table, the date value will be shown as 03.02.2010, when I export the table to excel this column contains "Tue Feb 02 00:00:00 CET 2010".

Can someone tell me how I can export the date value so that I get 03.02.2010 in my excel-file?

Thanks
Ralf

Hi Ralf,

Welcome to the forum.

I think this is a bug as exporter seems to ignore converters when extracting the value. I remember adding TODO comments in code for this.

Can you add a ticket in our issue tracker, we'll take care of this soon.

I use primefaces-ui-0.9.2.jar, but will now update to primefaces-1.0.0.RC.jar and test it again

Many thanks for the information, I've forget to have a look if there is a newer version of primefaces :(

With version 1.0.0 it works fine :D
