PF 3.0M2 layout issues

Since milestone 2 is not a finalised release yet, this post is for information only - just in case the PrimeFaces team aren't aware of the issues.

When using the reimplemented layout in 3.0M2, the fullPage option causes the layout to be displayed in front of the dock, thus rendering it unusable. Also, I feel I should question the wisdom of changing the position attributes in the new layout from top, bottom, left etc. to north, south, east etc. I don't see how it is semantically any different, yet it breaks compatibility with earlier versions.

As the planned date for M2 release is approaching, I have checked and these issues are not yet resolved in the nightly build. Does the team intend to address them? Admittedly, the dock issue can be easily resolved by changing the default z-index of the component, but it should still be on top of the layout by default.
