PrimeFaces 2.0.0 RC

Should the global attribute of the p:tooltip component be marked as <required>true</required> in the primefaces-p.tld?

The documentation (PDF) shows that there is a default value of FALSE. My IDE is complaining, and I don't want to have to add the global attribute if its not needed.

thanks!

Hi,

yes it is a required field as the code is using the the global attribute to decide on how to render the tooltip. As you said it is defined as false.

I think it is a problem of your IDE, as it is giving the error. We have a lot of required attributes in primefaces so you IDE will complain for all of them :). It is better you search a fix in your IDE side

Cheers,

Yigit

I think we need to make this attribute "not required".

Created an issue for this: http://code.google.com/p/primefaces/iss ... ail?id=488
