I want to know if anybody knows what is the better configuration with GlassFish v3 for Primefaces 3.0/JSF 2.0 for high performance. I would like to know if the response is better with other server like Tomcat. Thank you in advance and sorry with my English.

Hi, I've not ever tried Tomcat so couldn't comment on that. I have noted
that Glassfish does seem slow even running on localhost in a development
environment. Not surprisingly things speed up a lot if you turn off the
development setting in web.xml (javax.faces.PROJECT_STAGE &
javax.faces.FACELETS_DEVELOPMENT). A thorough read of the Glassfish
performance tuning guide is highly recommended.

Here are a couple of links that might be of interest, the first one runs
through some steps for tuning a production server, the second a long list
of interesting looking performance related links.

I dont know exactly but i think tomcat should perform better but you can not use EJB's and and and with plain Tomcat.
If you dont need Java EE stuff, you should try Tomcat
