Hello guys,
I wanted to know if primefaces works well in doctype strict and didn't find any documentation that states this as a requirement for primefaces components.
So I went to showcase page to see if it was "stricted" which would show that primefaces works in strict mode.
Is there a reason for keeping showcase page as transactional? is primefaces 100% supported in doctype strict mode?
Doctype Transactional on showcase page
Hi,
doctype strict is not recommended by reason of third party widgets and browser compatibility. Never got working JSF in strict mode. If you look all examples, they have Transitional doctype. Is it a problem?

Actually, it's not a "problem",
but we're trying to develop a system doctype stricted to guarantee that we're doing it right.
With doctype strict it should be easy to guarantee the web functionality as we design it, in different browsers.
I believe that we should all pursue doctype strict development.
