I would like to know if anybody has had Primefaces-2.2.1 working with Jboss-6.0.0.Final and seam 2.2.2.
I've tried to setup a project with the above combination but the project fails to deploy correctly as I get a xml parse exception. There were a few other users that reported a similar error.
In setting up the above project I used seam-gen to create a base project, copied the primefaces jar into the project and adjusted the deployment jar file list to include primefaces jar file.
on deployment I get the following error
Caused by: org.xml.sax.SAXException: Error Handling [vfs:/home/mnc/apps/jboss-6.0.0.Final/server/default/deploy/primeFaces.ear/primeFaces.war/WEB-INF/lib/primefaces-2.2.1.jar/META-INF/primefaces-p.taglib.xml@5,17]

I've tried removing view-handler from faces-config, richfaces-UI libs and facelets lib but are faced with seam dependency class not found issue when I do this.
So wondered if anybody had managed use primefaces2.2.1 with seam 2.2.2 and jboss-6.0.0.Final

You know that PrimeFaces 2.x is for JSF2 and Seam2 is not compatible with JSF2?

This is where it goes into a grey area for me.
Here's Dan Allen saying otherwise
http://seamframework.org/Documentation/ ... rkWithJSF2.
I'm confused.

Maybe you should ask the Seam guys but AFAIK Seam2 was not compatible with JSF2 but there exist an patch anywhere.

Looks like this is a well discussed topic
http://seamframework.org/Community/Seam ... tyWithJSF2
For me primefaces is just out of reach, frustrating...
Thanks

You could also use Seam3 or PrimeFaces 1.x
