growl issue in template and @PostConstruct

Hi, i'm new to this forum.
I have a problem to to operate properly the component p:growl.
I have placed it in a template:

<p:growl id="msgs" globalOnly="true"
                 life="3000"
                 showDetail="true"/>

and it work fine.
But in this way if I add faces message in @PostConstruct Method, the message ins't displayed.
While if I use the growl directly in the page that use the ManagedBean it work like expected.
