Dear PrimeFaces Community,

Should we migrate to JIRA as PrimeFaces Issue tracker or are you happy with google code's tracker?

Thanks for your feedback.

I'm used to JIRA because it's Springsource's choice, probably the best UI of all issue trackers right now.
In opensource options I like redmine over mantis, trac or bugzilla.. and I don't like google issue tracker at all so any change is welcome.
I would change the forum also, too much spam! phpBB is worse than IPB or another options.
Regards.

Yes, I will prefer JIRA over google issue tracker.
JIRA has best user interface among all issue trackers.

Definitely Jira. But would you be able to migrate all the existing issues there (maybe even credentials)

We've decided to migrate to JIRA after M3 is released. Then it is up to users to redefine their issues on JIRA as I don't think JIRA has import option from google code.

I hope you do many maintenance before removing/ignore the issues from googlecode.

JIRA is definitely better, but for me it doesn't matter where I have to create issues.
Then it is up to users to redefine their issues on JIRA as I don't think JIRA has import option from google code.
Hmm... I can't agree with you that users have to redefine their issues on JIRA. You can't expect this. This is normally the task of project lead / members and not users. Try to export issues to CSV format and import into Apache's Jira please. I read that should work.

If export/import does not work, we'll not do it.

If you want your issue to be fixed, just help us and redefine it at jira.
