Hello PrimeFaces team,
What do you think can you add spinner buttons to the Calendar to increase / decrease days? I've blogged about it here http://ovaraksin.blogspot.com/2011/08/c ... inner.html I just wanted to ensure whether we have to port code after PF 3.0 release or there is a chance to have this feature (new dateSpinner="true" attribute) as a built-in feature.
Best regards.
dateSpinner mode in Calendar

Great work on the technical side as usual Oleg, but I'm not sure about using a spinner for date picker from the usability point of view. When I see a site with a spinner to select date, I just don't like it as it seems to make things harder.
Thanks. Maybe you are right.
Spinner is actually not for date selection For date selection there is popup mode (click on icon or input field --> pick date). Spinner is for fast date in-, / decrementation: + 1 / -1 day. Only one click is needed. Such datepicker makes sense e.g. for time activities or in search masks. So, if you can imagine any other use cases, keep simple in mind this possibility please. Maybe for 4.0 release
Kind regards.
