Component styles keep overriding my own theme

I'm trying to override a few component styles by my own theme, but somehow the component styles keep overriding my theme.

I created a mytheme.jar, using an existing style and changing some styles. Then created a jar out of it, as decribed in the manual.
Created a context parameter primefaces.THEME which points to mytheme. This works fine for most components. But for some (for instance fieldset.css), using Firebug, I see that the component style overrides my theme instead of the other way around. How do I change that order?
