currency input mask

Hello,

I was wondering if someone can recommend a solution to providing an input mask for currency without a force for every character in the mask. I am basically trying to force the user to enter only numbers and at least one number. Then the field would auto format to represent the right format. The user enters 9 and the value in the text field becomes 9.00 or they enter 1234 and the value becomes 1,234.00. I know there are converters for after save and the input mask, but I guess I'm looking for something a little more flexible and real-time.

This is not sth inputMask can do at the moment, it only allows mask with fixed length.
