Accordion within Layout Object auto collapse problem

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. goto the showcase http://www.primefaces.org/showcase-labs ... omplex.jsf
2. Press the hide button for the west layout.
3. Press the hide button again to make the west layout to be visible
4. Press different Accordion tab to display the tab.

What is the PrimeFaces version?
PrimeFaces-3.0.RC1-SNAPSHOT
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The selected Accordion tab should be displayed, but now when select the tab it will display and then auto collapsed.
Which JSF implementation with version are you using?(Mojarra or MyFaces)
Mojarra-2.1.2
Which component libraries are you using in addition to PrimeFaces?
No
Which application server or servlet container are you using?
Tomcat7

Exactly the same behaviour here with IE8 or FF 3.6 on top of jboss.
It should be worth a bug report within the issue tracker?!?

It happens with p:accordion in a p:tabView too
