p:tree - unselect

hi,

I use p:tree as some sort of "navigation-menu" and i have 2 questsion about the new tree implementation:

a) it seems like i can't "unselect" a node which was possible with 2.2.1. So if i click a node which is already selected i want it to be unselected. is this possible with 3.x?

b) is it possible to disable selection completely? (if a node is selected i still use the select event, but the node should not be highlighted). of course i could change the style so that the selected nood looks the same as a normal node, but i still can't use the node again without clicking something else (because of a) )

any suggestions?

Yes, we know what you mean And you are right, tree in 2.2.1 was better in my opinion too. It seems tree in labs doesn't have selection at all. Gone by accident or a bug?

i really like the appearence of the new tree and it works great so far, but i really miss the unselection-ability.

maybe i can do some javascript hack?

any idea how to do this? (unselect treenode on selection, so the same node can be selected again without selecting another node)
