using convertNumber in columnGroup

hi guys, is it possible to use convertNumber within columnGroup?

i'm able to use convertNumber correctly with the normal rows...

but when it comes to the column group, if i use convertNumber, nothing will be displayed...

i added the $ sign before the total you see in the attached image myself, and as you can see it doesn't look nice :?
PrimeFaces 2.2.1 + NetBeans 7.0.1 + GlassFish 3.1.1 + MySQL 5.5.12
