Is there an easier way to store pics and documents of the users, on the server file system through primefaces *p:fileUpload* component. I just tried that but it was storing file to the tmp location and the files were eventually destroyed on server restart.

(I need to store the documents of user *permanently* & need to show them back when they come back.)

I haven't used the component but I would try to get the uploaded file and copy or move it to another permanent location.
