Looking into source repo, I only find a few test cases. Less than ten.

How is testing managed for PF?
JBoss AS 7.1
Mojarra 2.1.5
Seam 3.1.0.Final
PrimeFaces 3.1.1
PrettyFaces 3.3.2

Hi,

Why do you worry about test suite? Community tests PrimeFaces everyday.

I'm not sure if I can take your statement seriously. You can't stand behind such a claim!? If community tests PrimeFaces everyday, does that provide any guarantee to quality? Of course it does not. Functional interaction testing isn't the same as a test driven domain model, supporting regression testing. Wouldn't it make sense to have a community that contributes to test cases and ensure proper quality control?

I love PF's UI components and use it in a production solution. Nevertheless, what quality control is governed by this project.

Optimius, can you emphasize on PF's test strategy?

PF is tested by community and PrimeFaces team manually before each release, as java based renderers and JSF in particular are not easy to test we don't have an automated test suite. There are plans for selenium integration, but that's for future.
