how to access p:dataGrid via javaScript on the client side

I have a p:dataGrid that has a pagination similar to: << < 1 2 3 .. > >> what I would like to do is every time I click one of those button, to call
a javaScript function before the data get sent to the server like onclick="callmyJs()". unfortunately on the documentation I did not have found useful information for this specific task that I would like to accomplish.


can you please provide me an example of how can I can accomplish this task?
