Helo,

i had a p:tabView into a h:form. And, also i had a composite componet into this p:tabView.
My composite componet has a h:inputText and h:commandbutton (refering a managed bean).

After a upgrade PF 3.0 to 3.0.RC2 my composite componet stop to work.
The value of my h:inputText is null...

Anyone with the same problem?

This problem is in 3.0RC2, but the fix will be included in 3.0Final release. See Issue 3064.

You may want to wait until 3.0Final is released.

Can't say much without seeing your code but 3064 could be related if your tabview is dynamic.

i'm not using dynamic p:tabView.

The strange point is the id of the elements into composite component, it hasn't the prefix of tab:view.

1. You upgraded from PF 3.0? Please clarify "3.0" (M1, M2, M3, etc...).

2. See URL below, it may be similar/related, but I'm not sure since you did not share impacted xhtml/jsf and bean code.
viewtopic.php?f=3&t=16900

3. Please share your xhtml/jsf and bean code. Someone may be able to revise after reviewing your code.

4. If you did not download the checked-in fix for issue 3064, then you might as well wait until 3.0.Final is released. Sorry, i'm not a user of Maven (yet), so I'm unable to advise how to download the checked-in fix.

5. Last but not least, see my signature below, and let us know your test/development environment details like I did in my signature below.
