p:focus not setting initial focus

When using p:focus, normally the first open input field should receive focus.

By default first visible and enabled input element(e.g. text, textarea, select) is chosen to receive focus automatically.

This was once true for the showcase (and my web app). Firstname would receive focus when the page was loaded. This seems to no longer be the case (at least with my versions of Firefox and IE). Someone, please confirm. Primefaces Showcase Focus Demo -Thanks
