Regarding the p:selectManyMenu, I believe there was a change between 3.0.RC1 and 3.0.RC2. Before, the user could select/deselect many options in the menu without holding down the ctrl key. This is no longer the case. The ctrl key is now required, otherwise previous selections will be deselected.

Was this change intentional, or is it a bug? My personal opinion is that the user should not be required to hold down the ctrl key.

Optimus, I just noticed your response, sorry about the delay getting back to your question.

No, I've never used the h:selectManyMenu before - just tried it out though, and I see that it forces the user to hold the ctrl key. Clearly Primefaces would want to mirror that behavior. Too bad though, I got spoiled using the p:selectManyMenu when it wasn't forcing the ctrl key. Maybe it could be an attribute someday.

I vote for thie feature too: will be great to add boolean type attribute like "holdKey".

Any update on this issue ? Able to replicate the same in the Primefaces showcase now also. Any workaround to resolve if not fixed? Thanks.
