Please ignore if this is not viable ( i think it can be done with maven or ant? )
How about a feature to build a jar with only the components you will need in your project?
Primefaces has many components and this is great, but i think most of the time people don't use all of it.
With this feature we could build an even smaller jar saving precious kbs in our applications.
And the admins would be aware of what people use most in primefaces and them could focus support on it.
Would be something like this http://twitter.github.com/bootstrap/download.html
Think about...after all who doesn't like customizations?

[Request] Customize jar to include only some components
Good idea. But it means a separate Maven build because resources are merged at build time. Can we execute a Maven build from web page? But idea is good if there are some rare used components with big resources. In PF Extensions we have for instance separate JARs for CKEditor and CodeMirror resources because they deliver many JS / CSS / Images files and it doesn't make sense to include them into the main JAR. Some resources are loaded even at runtime. AFAIK PrimeFaces doesn't have such big resources at the moment.
