Question to new p:confirmDialog

Hello Cagatay,

PrimeFaces users have some troubles with confirm dialog included within command components (flicker, brocken page for certain constellations, etc.) I can remember that you wanted to do it as standalone component (there is an issue). Just a question - When do you plan to create such confirm dialog? I would like to know whether it will be available in the 2.0.1 release. If not available I will implement it myself. This is an almost last remaining issue I have in my web-app

Are you experiencing issues with p:dialog too ? Mines just disappear right after showing :/

No. I have p:dialog and it works fine. Why shall it disappears? When and where?

I have a dialog under layout. It works fine. But if I do an update for the dialog the entire page flickers shortly. I have decided to avoid such updates.

Due to high workload, we've decided to push it to 1.0.2 and 2.0.2 releases, but still it will be standalone to make it integrate with any component. I guess just like you've done with tooltip, you can go with your custom component and if you like the PrimeFaces version, migrate it to later

Thanks Cagatay. I'm very busy at the moment and don't have any time to develop custom components. I thought we will use from PrimeFaces one But I can understand you.

I predict that new confirmDialog will be in 1.0.2 and 2.0.2.

Thanks Cagatay. I don't need a new confirm dialog because I implemented a couple weeks ago my own standalone dialog (based on YUI). I'm happy with my confrim dialog because I have some features like dynamic messages (message text is set dynamically before show() so that one dialog can be reused many times). Nevertheless, I would like to compare your confirm dialog with my one. Where can I see an example of using of your dialog?
