Deploy problem with JBoss 5.1

Hi Cagatay,

I'm trying to deploy a web-app based on PrimeFaces. I need to deploy it in JBoss (version 5.1) but when it starts to initialize Mojarra it gives:

Exception sending context initialized event to listener instance of class org.jboss.web.jsf.integration.config.JBossJSFConfigureListener
com.sun.faces.config.ConfigurationException: CONFIGURATION FAILED! Application was not properly initialized at startup, could not find Factory: javax.faces.context.ExceptionHandlerFactory

Looking for the web I got the sugestion that JBoss inner jsf libraries get in conflict with web-app libraries( JBossROOT\server\default\deploy\jbossweb.sar\jsf-libs).
Then I decided to replace Jboss libraries with jsf-api-2.0.2-FCS.jar and jsf-impl-2.0.2-FCS.jar. Now it deploy correctly, but PrimeFaces doesn't work properly.

What do you think about?

Hi,

What do you mean by PrimeFaces not working correctly although it is deployed?

Please make sure you have a working JSF application and then we can discuss any PrimeFaces related issues.

Hi Teresa,

I have JBoss 5.1.0 too and use JSF 2.0.2 with PrimeFaces 2.0.1-SNAPSHOT. I also replaced JBoss libraries by jsf-api-2.0.2-FCS.jar and jsf-impl-2.0.2-FCS.jar. Everything is working fine. No problem at all.

it seams that my problems aren't related to the deploy. When i'll solve them I'll share the solution.
