Detecting when TabView tab is selected

I've searched for this and can not find an example of how to detect when a TabView tab is selected. I need to save off the last selected tab so that it can be reloaded when returning to a page. Anyone know how to do this?

Not yet but very soon it will be available with an ajax tabSelectListener, star the following issue to get email notifications regarding updates.
