I saw some other minor visual bugs with IE8. Because you're running IE tests with this release, I'll wait until all the tests are done and check those bugs again (because it takes me some time to report a bug: I have to capture the screen, save it to a file, upload it to my wordpress so that when you read the post, you see the image immediately (you don't need to click a link to see the image) ....).

We haven't seen this space in calendar when running ie8 tests, still feel free to contribute your findings with us regarding other components so we can improve.
