I think it's the same in NetBeans. As developers, we cannot expect IDE to do everything for us. But I have realized that its eclipse that gives me warning when it actually works fine.
<h:outputText value="#{user.}" when i ctrl + space after the dot eclipse only show the properties of the lazydatamodel such as getRowData(), getPageSize();
But when I deploy the project and i write for example <h:outputText value="#{user.id} eclipse gives me a warning but it shows the id in the browser.
So its an eclipse reference problem... i think.....
