Morning all,
I haven't been able to search forum properly as using my mobile for surfing .
Anyways my question is : I have to highlight the component being updated after an ajax request .
I'm using p:effect tags and works well except the animation happens on page load as well .
Nothing wrong with the tag in itself , as I'm listening to 'load' event .
Any ideas to get around this would be greatly appreciated .
Env : primefaces 2.0.1.jar , FireFox
Thanks.
Goutham
use p:effect for only ajax updates

Ok figured it out now.
I'm rendering the component based on a backing bean condition and when the time to update comes they will rendered as the condition would have been met. Works like a treat.
Cheers,
Goutham
