Is there any differences between JSF and XHTML?

I want to try the gallerie example in my code from primefaces.org demos, but my galleria doesn't work for me.
Maybe because I use .XHTML and not .JSF?

I have 2 problems with the galleria:
1 - If I navigate from a "home.xhtml" page, to the "galleria.xhtml" page (with a button), the galleria won't show up.
2 - If I directly go to the "galleria.xhtml" (wrrite in the URL and than ENTER), I can see the galleria, BUT not like in the demo example, my galleria will be different from the original (from the demo: http://www.primefaces.org/showcase/ui/galleria.jsf).

In the demo, I navigate to the galleria demo, so my code should work too with the navigation!

You shouldn't use JSP anywhere, I think it has been/will be deprecated. Search Google for more.

sorry, I wrote it wrong, I wanted the JSF not JSP!
