Layout: collapse onclick resizer bar

Hi,
We do not like the minimize/restore icons on the layout unit title. Actually no title bar in our case.
West layout unit is nagivation menu. How to collapse it onclick its resizer bar, and restore it onclick again?

How would you be able to click it if it is hidden...???

But hiding it on close is easy... Use some css

By adding a jquery eventhandler, like you would do in other cases to and how primefaces does it to...
