What do you mean with "combination of PrimeFaces and AngularJS"? These are two different approaches. JSF ist a server-side framework, AngularJS, Ember.js, etc. are client-side frameworks. You can compare them with PrimeUI, but not with PrimeFaces. Well, PrimeUI ist not a framework with model binding, etc., but if you would add some "framework specific features" to PrimeUI, it could be more or less comparable with mentioned client-side frameworks.

I have plans to add built-in js mvc framework support, probably it will be angular. PrimeUI will be moved to GitHub in 1.0 and probably me and Rudy will work on the angular support.

First I need to finish the datatable widget though for 1.0 :)

will PrimeUI widgets also be made more consistent regarding setting things read-only/disabled etc? e.g. by using a base widget?

Hello Cagatay,

Please also consider other JavaScript MVC framework before move to AngularJS. There are a lot. I already mentioned Ember.js. From what I seen in AngularJS und Ember.js I would prefer Ember.js. There is a good comparison article of all most used MVC frameworks. http://codebrief.com/2012/01/the-top-10 ... -reviewed/

As you can see, Ember.js is a winner because it fullfils all 4 requirements: UI Bindings, Composed Views, Web Presentation Layer, Plays Nicely With Others. Other frameworks miss them partially.
