So next time, when people in other topics think I'm not nice, point them to this post and have them analyze rikups posts. Then they know how they should 'act' and why I am (in their opinion) not nice to them. ;)

I will, don't worry. It just surprises me that I personally never posted questions like this. Heck, I used so many different frameworks amd I only posted about 2-3 dozen actual questions in the last 15 years. All other issues I encountered, I was not the first, and I found solutions by trying, searching, reading, failing, analyzing, using the source etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, and in the mean time LEARNING, GETTING BETTER, IMPROVING MYSELF, GAINING KNOWLEDGE... The last couple of years, I've seen 'people' expecting others to be clairvoyant for their problems, and solving it for free (as in beer). That is one thing I will hopefully never start doing (as you did in the datatable background image topic) to provide answers in that way. Compliments for what you did, but I refuse to do it...

Thanks. Honestly, I spent too much time on that response, multitasking.I learned that from BalusC, answering questions can help you learn more, and because research definitely required if you don't know the answer.

Sure, there questions where answering can enhance/increase/improve your knowledge because you still have to investigate. But I'm (maybe to) selective in that regard. Sometimes I am curious to why something does not work or whatever, but I am at the same time seriously thinking 'what's in it for me'? If I do not see me using something similar, then I do't put any time in it. Yes, that's kind of selfish, sorry for that. But I do folow that topic and try to 'remember' it. So when I do need it, the knowledge is there.
