I would like to know if there is any IDE support for PrimeFaces, I didn't find any reference on this topic. I think that PrimeFaces is excellent, but lacks from IDE support.
Eclipse and Netbeans are great free IDEs. I think PrimeFaces could be more popular if there is an easier integration with these IDEs. The integration I mean to include a component palette into the IDE, to drag and drop the tags.

Hi, welcome to the forums. I absolutely agree that PrimeFaces needs better integration, one of our users was working on a netbeans palette addon, I'm not sure the current status of that project. Nowadays inside the team we're trying to create some time and resource to focus on ide integration.
I was so busy for last few months, so that I couldn't keep any comment on this forum. But I haven't given up. At this moment also I was designing some icons for the tools.

Great news, what's your google code account name? I'll create a folder for netbeans plugin.
Is it my email account? Or should I create any other type of an account on google?

Yes, that's the one, I'll send you an email when I create the project folder in our svn and give you commit access.
Hi all,
Pallet support in an IDE is indeed something that is very interesting. But that is just part of the issue. WYSIWIG for pages is another thing. I've worked with VPE (Visual Page Editor) of JBoss Tools and created an XForms designer. While interesting for forms, XForms is (imo) not suited for full application building. Richfaces currently seems limited compared to Primefaces, so I'm thinking of switching to this great set of components.
As a return of favour, I'd be more than happy to at least investigate the complexity of creating templates for primefaces components so they can be used in JBossTools IDE. Helios would be another option, but I have no knowledge on how that would work, nor do I have the time to investigate how much work it would be.
Any thoughts?
