Do you have plans to make p:password level do validation against the level that is set based on user input?? Right now setting the level doesn't seem to do anything. Or is there a way to set/access the level in the backing bean somehow??

example

Code: Select all

<p:password value="#{manageInstitutionUserBean.confirmPassword}" level="2" minLength="6"/>
Should throw some type of exception if user inputs "p" which would be level 1 I would assume...

level was added for that purpose but can't remember why we have left it unimplemented. Please create an issue ticket for this.

Just wondering if you have an update if this is in any recent release. If not where do I need to go to open a ticket?

Thanks

Just for future reviewers of this topic: level and minLength attributes were removed since PrimeFaces 3.5.
