Hi,

our trunk build and integration test against 5.1 revision 11777 revealed, that PrimeFaces got an unhealthy dependency to barcode4j-light that even the component is not used, triggers a

Code: Select all

java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/krysalis/barcode4j/output/CanvasProvider
exception within the PrimeResourceHandler as soon as it loads. The PrimeFaces pom.xml suggests a provided scope of the barcod4j-light dependency, not a transitive one, so the PrimeResourceHandler should otherwise test for existence rather than bluntly create a BarcodeHandler and fail miserably.

Best regards,

Heiko

Testing with PrimeFaces-5.0-SNAPSHOT (we try to always use the newest trunk revision) too.

I did but Catagay invalidated it.

Settle your internal rules first please, otherwise I'll stop posting errors in the trunk and let you find them yourself.
