Datatable row selection with check boxes

Hi,

I am trying to implement a datatable with multiple row selection with check boxes. this functionality is working fine, but user wants it to behave differently, below are the details.

when a row is clicked on the datatable, the row should be selected but the check box should not be checked. & user should be able to individually select the check boxes & should be able to check all.

I appreciate any help with this issue.

Very, very uncommon request. There are (afaics) two ways to achieve this:
- Download the source of PF and hack this into the code. You'll have to do this for the customer over and over again since it will not be incorporated into the PF core I think. Not even if you provide patches since it will be dificult to maintain in the future
- Go PF Pro... They will implement it for you, but even then I don't think it will be automagically in future versions.

Best thing to do is (imho) to convince the client this is very uncommon behaviour
