As the topic says, resizing in dataTable does no longer work with PrimeFaces 5.1. Even the PrimeFaces code-Examples at
http://www.primefaces.org/showcase/ui/d ... size.xhtml
are not working
PF5.1: DataTable resize does no longer work
Well, it doesn't work in FF 26, which isn't so old. But in chromium 37 it works.
I think you cannot assume that all users of a webpage have the newest versions of a browser. Specially when browsing on work, they normally have poor old versions.
Thanks,
Stefan

You cannot expect PF to extensively check all release of FF, chrome (and derivatives) safari etc.
And poor old browsers on work are 99% of the time IE.
Btw, I checked with FF 19 as well and it also works there. Might as well be a jquery issue

Oh sorry, my mistake.
Of course PF cannot do a complete check in all browsers. But I thought PF is interested to know about a problem i figured out.
I would have been interested.
And by the way, I think you can be a bit more friendly.
Thanks.

Sorry, if I my last post sounded a little less friendly, Your inital post 'bad' since it simply stated 'does no longer work' without checking a little more carefully if it was specific to a browser. Your next reply started with 'Well...' which I interpreted as a kind of 'complaining'.zingel wrote:Oh sorry, my mistake.

And yes PF is interested in actual things not working, but they are only interested in detailed / big issues. Resizing not working in one specific version of FF (being not the latest ,or one before that) is not 'interesting'.
So honestly, 'a little less friendly' was partly how it was meant. Since it takes us time to read, check, respond and in the end it is kind of a non-issue. That happens more and more lately in this forum and that gets a little frustrating from time to time.
But if you find issues again and did some checking, please keep reporting them, it can help PF become better.
Cheers
