I've hit an odd issue where the p:calendar component highlights the same day (ie the 30th) on every month if multi-page display is enabled.

For example, in:

Code: Select all

<p:calendar value="#{someBean.someDateField}" mode="popup" pages="3" />
If the contents of the field are non-null, then when the calendar pops up the same day will be highlighted in each month, instead of only the selected day of the selected month.

See the image here: http://imagebin.ca/view/pR7PaN.html

(The calendar also seems to fail to respect the locale set by f:view, always rendering American-style dates unless an explicit locale= is set on every calendar instance individually.)

Does it happen with 2.1 as well? Can you replicate it at showcase?

I can't reproduce it with the showcase, as it doesn't offer a popup calendar with multiple pages. The issue only seems to affect the popup calendar.

I'll put together a quick test case, try it against 2.2-M1 and 2.1, and post it.

The bug with mult-page popup calendars does not occur in 2.1, only in 2.2.M1-SNAPSHOT .

I've put a test case together and attached it to new bug 1206 (http://code.google.com/p/primefaces/iss ... il?id=1206).

I've also reported the locale issue with popup calendars as bug 1207 (http://code.google.com/p/primefaces/iss ... il?id=1207)
