Frozen Columns Does Not Work - Primefaces 3.5

I am working on a very large scale project and really need the Frozen Columns feature to work in Primefaces 3.5. It is out of my control for what version of primefaces we use. Any help would be greatly appreciated or if anyone has found a way around using the frozen columns features.
