dataTable paginator does not show after clearing filter

Hi All,
how is it going?

I have a little issue that is bugging me. I have a list being displayed using a dataTable object. Some of the columns have a filter matching type "contains". There is no problem with the filters or anything like that. The problem is when I clear the the filter input text box after a search. When I do that, the application shows me the first page but without the paginator. If I refresh the browser, then the paginator shows back up. This is a list of about 4 pages with 20 records per page.

does anyone know how to fix this?

Do you have the paginator dynamically displayed? Is your filter really cleared?

I don't know if it is dynamically displayed, how do you set that up?
The filter is clear in the client side table column. meaning I backspace (delete) everything that is in the input box provided by the component.
