ShowCase editable DataTable broken

I have been trying out PrimeFaces 6 in a PoC project and found that both Cell and Row Editing are broken.
In order to see if it was just me I noticed that the ShowCase exhibits exactly the same symptoms as my project does.

Row editing and cell editing work for me in the showcase on FF 47 on windows.

Just repeated the test, set a cell value to be empty and press Return.
