p:datatable emptyMessage not shown

Hi there,
as in the subject written, the emptyMessage is not shown using 2.2.M1 and 2.2.RC1-SNAPSHOT (tested today) when getting no values for the data table. It shows only the header and if activated the pagination footer line.

Tested with GF 3.0.1

I found the same problem, but with the loadingMessage.

In the primefaces 2.1 both messages works fine.

AFAIK, all *Message except emptyMessage are deprecated and not longer supported.

But anyway to get the emptyMessage to work - all data tables are showing weird without the empty message

With new datatable introduced in 2.2.M1 all messages except empty message is deprecated yes, it should display the empty message. I'll double check. Thanks for your feedback. Feel free to create an issue ticket if you are sure empty message is ignored.
