Possible to display images in a pickList?

I couldn't see any way of doing this, but thought I'd check. Assuming it is
not possible at present, I thought I could have side by side datatables
with single click select and have four buttons in the middle to move
items between the tables as a workaround?

Hi,

It's possible with the new PickList. Images can be set with CSS background.

New PickList will support p:column for this so you can place an image directly;

p:column sounds like a nice way to implement it - I'm going to wait for the
next 2.2 release and give it a go.
